Dual Identities

To anyone who may run across this journal:

I am desperately seeking someone who might be willing to use Charisma Carpenter as a pb. I have a character at a ficlet challenge community on livejournal that is a superhero of sorts, and I need someone for his leading lady. Said leading lady would not have to join the community and do challenges, but maybe do some threads with him and such, specifically in his journal, or in a special community. It would be a psl of sorts, except that some of the things happening in the line would be mentioned/discussed in his challenge responses. The leading lady is a premade, of sorts. I created her a couple years ago, and wrote her up in some of his ficlets. I created an entire profile for her, and the way she was characterized in the ficlets is reminiscent of Charisma's character from Buffy and Angel, Cordelia.

My Own Personal Rules
1. I have been rping for almost three years now. I'm well aware of what I'm doing. I don't see it as being necessary, but if you'd like to see examples, I can make them available upon request. Rping is about fun, not how much experience you may or may not have. (Examples are available to friends only, and can be found HERE and HERE.)
2. I live in the central time zone, and am usually on between 8 pm and 4 am central standard time.
3. Thread only, third person storybook format. Aim and I do not get along, for the most part.
4. I have been known to play both males and females, but I will only play out het storylines. Slash and femme just aren't my thing. At this time, I will mostly only play females. If you ask, I might play a certain male, but it depends on who it is. Sorry for any inconvenience. If you'll check out my icons, those who have more than five icons indicate my favorites to play. Be aware that my choice of playable characters is not limited to those shown in my icons or on my Characters and Faces page. Any character/pb listed as "inactive" on my Previously Played/Retired Characters page is a character I might play, if asked.
5. I play very few celebs, a few "fandom" characters, and a handful of pbs. My "fandoms" are somewhat limited, I guess you could say. I'm somewhat strict with my celeb and "fandom" pairings, but I'm willing to work with pb pairings.
6. I would like to have more long-term storylines, but if it comes down to it, and one or both of us feels it's not going anywhere, or it's no longer good, I will back out.
7. I will admit, I am an icon whore. I love icons, and if it's a character/pb I like a lot, I like having a bunch of icons, just for them. If we have what's shaping up to be a long-term line, and I happen to adore the character, don't be surprised if I mention us making separate journals for our line so I can have those extra icons.
8. I understand real life can get in the way, and you might not be able to respond every single day. However, if I'm waiting for a response from you, rather we're actually working a scene or discussing a line, and I do not hear from you within five weeks, I will not hesitate to back out on you. That just presents to me that you're not actually interested in rping with me. If you decide you still want the line, and see that I've removed the character I was playing with you from my "Currently In Play" list, just comment, and we can possibly work something out.
9. In the past year, I have become pretty much community-shy. It's very intimidating to me, and typically, my characters end up with no one to talk to. I am not completely adverse to the idea, though. I will join a community, if there are at least two people there already whom I feel I might be able to have a storyline with. So, please, feel free to ask me if I'm interested. You might be surprised.
10. I do play out sex scenes. I'm a big fan of smut, so I pretty much love to. However, I do have some restrictions.
*I will only smut with someone who's over the age of 18, preferably older, because the maturity level is a bit higher.
*I will not play out any of the following, or anything similar: incest, rape, abuse, BDSM, etc. Again, not my thing. I will, however, play out moderately rough sex, but that is only with one particular pairing I have listed. Want to know which one that is? Just ask.
*If we're going to smut, or you're intending for our storyline to mostly be smut, I ask that we talk OOC a few times, at least. I know it sounds strange, but I won't smut with a complete stranger. I have to get to know them, if only slightly.
*A bit of a warning: I'm at what you'd call the romance novel level of smut. Meaning, I've been exposed to steamy romance novels for a long while, and when I smut, I tend to play out how a romance novel would, and don't use a lot of foul language, and if I do end up using anything more than "ass", it's because I am extremely comfortable with you. If you have an issue with this, I apologize. It's just how I do things.
*I usually prefer romantic storylines, or friends-with-benefits storylines. I'm not really into smut-only.

Coming from the mass hysteria that was/is greatestjournal. This journal is meant to be a psl/rp example journal, but until GJ gets its act together, or I'm able to work something out, I won't have anything in here.
